Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Enid, OK is seeking a phlebotomy technician to join Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma. You will collect blood and urine specimens, prepare them for testing, and ensure accurate data entry into the Care360 system. Hours are Monday Friday, 8ampm, with occasional schedule adjustments.

Success candidates will have venipuncture experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy lab environment while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of venipuncture techniques using vacutainer needles, hubs, butterfly devices, safety needles and syringes.
• Experience collecting blood specimens from pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Ability to manage high patient volume while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Proficiency in basic computer use, including keyboarding and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens per established procedures, including drug screen.
• Collect blood and urine specimens using approved techniques and equipment.
• Accession patient and test information into the Care360 system.
• Process and prepare all specimen types for testing.
• Obtain billing information and ICD-10 data from clients as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams, patients and external customers.
