Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Oklahoma City is seeking a phlebotomy specialist to collect blood and other specimens and enter data into the Care 360 system. The role requires handling high patient volumes with accuracy and maintaining professional interactions with patients and staff.

Hours are Monday–Friday 8am–1pm, with flexibility for early starts or extended hours as needed. Training and teamwork are emphasized in a supportive clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with venipuncture and blood collection.
• Ability to manage high patient volumes with accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
• Proficiency with basic computer use and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens.
• Collect blood and urine specimens using approved techniques and equipment.
• Accession patient and test information into the Care 360 system.
• Process and prepare all types of specimens for testing.
• Obtain billing information and ICD-10 data as needed.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams, patients and clients.
