Job summary

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO) in Enid, OK is seeking a phlebotomy/medical technician to join our team. You will collect blood and other specimens, enter patient and test information into Care 360, and assist with processing specimens for testing.

Ideal candidates will have proven venipuncture skills, experience with high patient volumes, and strong communication and data entry abilities. Flexibility with scheduling and potential location changes may be required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of venipuncture techniques using vacutainer needles and hubs.
• Experience collecting blood from patients of all ages.
• Strong interpersonal and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screen.
• Collect blood and urine specimens using approved techniques and equipment.
• Accession patient and test information accurately into the Care 360 system.
• Process and prepare all types of specimens for testing.
• Obtain billing information from patients and ICD-10 diagnosis information from clients.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams, patients, and external customers.
