Job summary

Quest Diagnostics, in partnership with Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO) in Oklahoma City, is seeking a phlebotomy-focused team member to collect specimens, ensure data integrity, and support clinical testing workflows.

The role requires skill in venipuncture, reliable patient interaction, and accurate data entry in Care 360. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, with travel as needed to meet business requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of venipuncture techniques using vacutainer needles, butterfly devices, safety needles, and syringes.
• Experience collecting blood specimens from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Ability to manage a high patient volume efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens.
• Collect blood and urine specimens using approved techniques and equipment.
• Accession patient and test information accurately into the Care 360 system.
• Process and prepare all types of specimens for testing.
• Obtain billing information from patients and ICD-10 diagnosis information from clients, as needed.
• Communicate clearly, courteously, and professionally with internal teams, patients, and external customers.
