Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Patient Service Center (PSC) Site Coordinator in Gastonia, NC, to oversee PSC operations within an assigned area. The role includes coordinating staff and laboratory coordination to ensure smooth patient flow and quality service.

The position also involves phlebotomy and specimen processing under minimal supervision, with a schedule Monday–Friday 7:45am–4:45pm and rotating weekends. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
• 3 years or more phlebotomy experience preferred.
• 6 months of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report performance, compliance, or staffing issues to supervisors.
• Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory, and information logs.
• Monitor monthly productivity reports and report deviations.
• Address customer service issues promptly and respectfully.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication among coworkers.
• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens and related tests.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
