Job summary

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We are seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to oversee Patient Service Centers within an assigned area, perform phlebotomy and specimen processing, and collaborate with PSC staff, management, and lab personnel to ensure efficient operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of phlebotomy experience (3+ preferred), and a phlebotomy certification may substitute experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of phlebotomist experience required.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is acceptable.
• In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report performance, compliance or staffing issues to supervisors.
• Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory, and logs.
• Monitor monthly productivity reports and report deviations.
• Address customer service-related issues promptly and respectfully.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication among coworkers.
• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
