The PSR II may work in various settings, including doctor's offices and patient service centers, based on business needs.

Training Locations: May vary based on trainer availability.
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred; phlebotomy certification preferred in certain states.
Work Experience: Minimum three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections; two years in a Patient Service Center preferred; retail or service customer experience preferred; keyboard/data entry skills required.
