Description/Comment: The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of our company to patients, assisting with health routines and critical health decisions. The role involves drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring a trustworthy environment through clear communication and skillful procedures. The PSR II demonstrates leadership, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy. Depending on needs, they may work in a doctor's office, patient service center, or other locations.
Training locations vary. Requires high school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred, especially in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Minimum three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections. Two years in a Patient Service Center preferred. Customer service experience and data entry skills are advantageous.
