Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• Strong knowledge of phlebotomy duties and patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report performance, compliance or staffing issues to supervisors.
• Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and logs.
• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for various tests and enter patient data accurately.
• Process billing information and travel to additional sites as needed.
