Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Strong English reading/writing and math abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• 1 year of SQL/LSA lab environment experience OR 2 years leadership/training/experience OR an allied health degree.
• Ability to recognize problems and implement solutions.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and procedures in the section.
• Understanding of regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and computer skills across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational oversight for the shift, including scheduling and workflow management.
• Ensure quality control procedures and maintain QA/ QC records for accreditation.
• Monitor section finances, supply usage, and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Participate in staff training, orientation, and performance assessments.
• Act as liaison with physicians, nurses, clients, and other professionals; participate in department committees.
