Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Laboratory Support Technician (LST II) to join the provider care team. You will support reports, data and scheduling functions of the laboratory, ensuring accurate, timely, and professional specimen handling and processing.

You will deliver excellent customer service per Mercy Signature Service Standards, maintain HIPAA confidentiality, complete facility competencies, and collaborate with the care team to support safe, efficient laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Support reports, data and scheduling functions of the laboratory.
• Acquire specimens and assist in laboratory testing with HIPAA confidentiality.
• Provide accurate, timely and professional laboratory support following Mercy standards.
