Mercy is seeking a Laboratory Support Technician (LST II) to join the provider care team. You will support laboratory reports, data handling, and scheduling while ensuring accurate specimen collection and adherence to Mercy Service Standards and HIPAA guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 6 months of phlebotomy or clinical lab experience, with completion of facility competencies for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience required.
• Must complete facility competencies and pass checks for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, timely laboratory support for reports, data and scheduling.
• Collect specimens using safe, accurate, professional methodologies while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.
• Deliver Mercy Service Standards in all customer interactions.
