Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our laboratory team. You will perform venipunctures, waived tests, maintain accurate records, and support quality control.

Requires high school diploma, BLS, 2+ years phlebotomy or 3+ years waived testing, and English proficiency. Epic experience and MS Office skills are a plus; we offer a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience OR 3+ years waived testing experience in a clinical setting.
• Must be able to communicate in English; strong customer service skills.
• Experience with Windows-based software.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric and adult venipunctures, finger sticks, heel sticks, and other collection services as ordered by the provider.
• Perform CLIA waived testing as described in the lab procedure manual with minimal supervision.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records for inspections and audits.
• Carry out quality control tasks and participate in proficiency testing.
• Maintain lab instruments per manufacturer guidelines and safety policies.
