Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Complete KSC review/skill validation within 90 days of hire.
• Must obtain BLS within 30 days of employment.
• 2+ years of experience in phlebotomy or 3 years in a patient service center with waived testing.
• Ability to speak, write and understand English.
• Able to use related equipment and Windows-based software.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric and adult venipunctures and specimen collection as ordered by the provider.
• Perform CLIA waived testing per lab procedures.
• Maintain accurate lab records for inspections/audits.
• Perform quality controls and participate in proficiency testing as required.
• Maintain lab instruments following safety guidelines.
