Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium is seeking a phlebotomist to perform adult, pediatric, and neonatal blood collection, including finger- and heel-sticks, with strict labeling accuracy and chain-of-custody procedures.

Under supervision, you will provide clerical and technical support to SEARHC laboratories, answer calls, and help maintain lab organization and supply inventories, contributing to high-quality patient care in Southeast Alaska.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy Certification required within 1 year of hire.
• Knowledge of basic clinical processes and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy on adults, children, and neonates.
• Support laboratory staff with clerical tasks and specimen handling.
• Maintain patient identification accuracy and proper specimen labeling.
• Provide receptionist duties and field caller inquiries for the lab.
