Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or equivalent required.
• PBT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Completion of a Clinical Lab Assistant or comparable program.
• Immunization: Hepatitis B immunity or vaccination evidence.
• Eligible to work in a health care facility as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintains supplies and inventory required for department functions.
• Observe students and/or new staff as needed.
• Demonstrates professional communication with clients, patients, and coworkers.
• Participates in on-call responsibilities and coverage for holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality of information.
• Basic PC skills.
