Job summary

TriCore Reference Laboratories is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant - Phlebotomist for Rust Hospital. This hourly role requires independent work with potential apprenticeship, and on-call responsibilities to support hospital needs.

Regular attendance during scheduled hours is essential and the position offers opportunities for skill advancement in a leading NM lab network. Initial training and certification are considered along with a pathway from CLA Level 1 to higher modalities, based on

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or equivalent.
• ASCP PBT or equivalent certification preferred.
• Ability to obtain Hepatitis B immunity or waiver.
• Eligible to work in a health care facility as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain supplies and inventory for departmental functions.
• Observe students and new staff as needed.
• Exhibit professional judgment when dealing with clients and co-workers.
• Participate in on-call coverage and holidays/weekends as required.
• Perform basic clerical duties and document critical communications.
