Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 1+ year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens by venipuncture or microcollection on all age groups.
• Process lab orders using Athena and LabDAQ LIS promptly.
• Label specimens accurately and maintain patient safety and comfort.
• Provide clerical support and assist with patient services as needed.
• Follow Universal Precautions and OSHA standards and ensure log records are complete.
