Job summary

Emanate Health is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to join the Laboratory Services team in California. You will perform venipunctures for adults and children, manage specimen processing, and help resolve sample-related issues with patients and staff.

The role requires strong communication, customer service, and accurate data entry, with weekend coverage as needed in a busy hospital laboratory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and medical terminology.
• Two years acute care hospital lab experience preferred; 1–2 years assisting in assays.
• Current California CPT certificate and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures on adults and pediatrics and micro collections on infants.
• Data entry and specimen processing; communicate with clients to resolve concerns.
• Assist in laboratory assays and perform other duties as assigned.
