Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist Group Lead for Escondido, CA, on-site, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role requires a state phlebotomy license and extensive phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• Seven years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations at PSC/IOP locations in the territory.
• Coach, mentor, and onboard new employees.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with supervisor and region teams on staffing and scheduling.
• Travel to meet with Territory Manager and other stakeholders as needed.
• Act as a coach and point of contact on-site.
