The Clinical Lab Assistant - Phlebotomist will work at Rust Hospital with Saturday-Tuesday shifts, on-call duties, and rotating holidays. Minimum education includes a high school diploma; ASCP certification is preferred, with apprenticeship options for entry candidates.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• ASCP-certified phlebotomist or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of a CLIA-relevant CLSA program or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and related duties with care and professionalism.
• Maintain supplies and inventory for the department.
• Provide on-call support and assist with patient care and communication.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation of communications.
• Participate in coverage for holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Operate basic clerical tasks and document critical communications.
