The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Phlebotomy Associate at Bell Hospital. This training position develops venipuncture skills and understanding of specimen collection under supervision of the Phlebotomy Education Coordinator.

• High school graduate required.
• Fluent English - understand, read, write and speak.
• Valid driver's license and transportation to support other locations.

Responsabilidades

• Follows hospital/department guidelines for attendance and tardiness.
• Attends phlebotomy education classes and training opportunities.
• Performs venipuncture and capillary collection with proper labeling.
• Ensures correct patient identification and order interpretation.
• Demonstrates competence in blood collection procedures and specimen handling.
• Provides excellent customer service and Patient-focused care.
