Job summary

LabCorp in Oxford, Michigan is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient service team. You will perform blood collections, handle specimens, and ensure accurate data entry while delivering excellent patient care.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and strong customer service skills. A valid phlebotomy credential or relevant experience is preferred, with occasional travel to other sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or training or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
