Job summary

Labcorp in Burlington, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, ensure accurate data entry, and provide friendly, professional service at the point of care.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience. You may travel to additional sites as needed, and there is incentive planning for strong performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
