Job summary

Labcorp in Ashland and Louisa, KY is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide exceptional patient service in a patient-facing role.

Requires HS diploma or GED and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience; certification from an accredited agency is preferred. The role involves travel between sites and occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
