Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Torrance, CA, covering Orange County and LA County areas. The role requires a California Phlebotomy license (CPT) and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Schedule includes varying hours, Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays.

You will perform blood collections, collect specimens, enter data, and provide excellent patient service across multiple sites. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• 1 year or more of experience as phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
