Job summary

Interpath Laboratory, Inc is seeking a Phlebotomist/Processor to join our team in Washington. The role concentrates on venipuncture, specimen handling, data entry, and maintaining patient safety in a fast-paced clinical setting.

This position requires at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience and a WA MA-P certification. Compensation ranges from $17.50 to $25.69 per hour, DOE, with a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Washington MA-P certification required.
• Minimum 6 months hands-on phlebotomy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administrative duties: Provide excellent customer service, answer phones, monitor instrumentation alarms.
• Technical: perform venipuncture, collect specimens, and prepare samples for lab testing.
• Data management: verify specimen information and perform data entry.
• Specimen handling: receive, process, and package samples for referral labs.
• Compliance: follow safety, HIPAA, Medicare rules and participate in QA.
• Flexibility: cover shifts at different sites as needed.
• Reliability: maintain punctual attendance and support the team.
