Job summary

Interpath Laboratory is seeking a friendly and energetic Phlebotomist/Processor in Washington state to join a patient-focused team. The ideal candidate will deliver outstanding customer service, perform venipuncture, and prepare samples for testing while maintaining accuracy and HIPAA compliance.

Pay is $17.50-$20.90 per hour DOE, with a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule. We offer medical, dental, vision benefits, a 401(k) plan with employer match, PTO, and in-house testing opportunities to support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Washington MA-P phlebotomy certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Administrative duties: Provide excellent customer service, answer phones, monitor instrumentation alarms.
• Technical duties: Perform venipuncture, collect specimens, and prepare samples for testing and screening.
• Data management: Verify specimen information, perform data entry, correctly identify patients.
• Specimen handling: Receive, process, and package samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.
• Compliance: Follow safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participate in quality assurance.
• Flexibility: Cover shifts at different sites to ensure smooth operations.
