Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy training.
• Experience in specimen collection and processing preferred.
• ASCP PBT certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs blood draws by venipuncture per protocol.
• Label specimens and ensure proper tube types.
• Process specimens and entry in HIS/LIS as required.
• Provide patient and care provider instructions for collection.
• Maintain patient safety and handle post-venipuncture reactions.
