Qualifications

• Ability to review department and hospital manuals and procedures to properly carry out job duties.
• Clerical perception, attention to detail and finger dexterity to transcribe data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate specimen processing to maintain specimen integrity.
• Prepares and distributes specimens for testing, noting special requirements.
• Evaluates specimen acceptability for testing and prioritizes processing.
• Operates with limited supervision and maintains regulatory compliance.
