Qualifications

• Adheres to policies and procedures in specimen collection.
• Efficient in collection, handling, and processing of specimens; min 40 venipunctures per eight-hour shift.
• Proficient in laboratory computer tasks related to processing and phlebotomy.
• Shares daily workload across phlebotomy/processing areas including outpatient/reception/greeting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Possesses on-call responsibilities as needed.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and excellent customer relations.
• Participates in QA, safety, and infection control plans.
