Job summary

Labcorp in Madison, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and specimen processing across patient service centers and client offices.

You will collect samples, enter patient data, and support billing and logistics while delivering excellent customer service and accurate documentation. This role may require travel to additional sites and flexible shifts to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency is required if no work experience.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Color blindness test must be passed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
