Job summary

Labcorp in Denton, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Denton, TX 76210. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 3:00pm and rotating Saturdays; additional days and hours may be required.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen collection, data entry, billing support, and maintaining patient logs while providing excellent patient service. Minimum: High school diploma. Preferred: 1+ year phlebotomy experience or Labcorp background.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Current or prior Labcorp experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
