Job summary

Labcorp in McKinney, TX is seeking a personable Phlebotomist to join our patient service team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups, enter data accurately, and support efficient billing and specimen handling.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1+ year phlebotomy experience or certification, and a strong commitment to compassionate patient care. This role offers growth opportunities within Labcorp and a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy knowledge and technique across age groups.
• Strong data entry and accuracy for patient information.
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens and other tests.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely.
• Process billing information when required and assist with payments.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
