Job summary

Labcorp in Dallas, TX is seeking a PRN Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and specimen handling across multiple clinic sites. This casual, as-needed role covers varied shifts with travel to sites in the Greater Dallas area.

The position requires a high school diploma and 1+ year phlebotomy experience; LabCorp experience is a plus. A strong focus on customer service and accurate data entry is essential for patient care and clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year phlebotomy experience in clinical/hospital environment.
• Current or prior LabCorp experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to various clinic sites.
