The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Columbia, MD. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with potential for permanent placement.

The incumbent will perform blood draws, manage specimen labeling, and ensure proper handling and transport of samples. Candidates should have a valid phlebotomy certification for the state, 2+ years of phlebotomy experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years diagnostic phlebotomy experience (as stated).
• Pediatric and geriatric experience required.
• Must be proficient with venipuncture and specimen handling procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Decontaminate work areas and update patient information.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure sample integrity.
