Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Columbia, MD. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

The role requires 2–4 years of phlebotomy experience with pediatric and geriatric patient exposure, and certification as a phlebotomist. Potential for permanent placement exists. Responsibilities include performing blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifugation, data recording, and ensuring proper transport and handling per protocol.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years diagnostic phlebotomy experience.
• Experience drawing blood from pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Proficiency with venipuncture procedures and specimen handling.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws and label specimens according to procedures.
• Centrifuge, package, and transport specimens following protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient information and test requisitions; document maintenance data.
• Explain procedures clearly and courteous, ensure specimen integrity and proper temperature control.
