Mon & Thu 8:30-4:30, T, W, F 8-4

Job Description:

• The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) interacts directly with patients, drawing blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
• Creates a trustworthy environment, explains procedures, and performs blood draws safely, accurately, and skillfully.
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors, focuses on process excellence, and maintains confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
• May be assigned to a doctor's office, patient service center, or other locations based on business needs.
• Performs daily activities accurately and timely under supervision, maintaining a safe and professional environment.
• Handles forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing, verifying patient demographic information and labels.
• Maintains records and documentation, and promotes a positive image to all stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to produce quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting.
• Independence in work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
• Adherence to policies, safety standards, and company principles.
• Good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record if applicable.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours across multiple locations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-volume environments.
• Strong customer focus and effective communication skills.
• Training location may vary.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred, required in CA, NV, WA.

Work Experience:

• At least 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Preferably 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment.
• Experience in customer service and data entry.

Additional Details:

• 2+ years of phlebotomy and processing experience preferred.
