Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Waycross, GA. The role involves patient blood collection, specimen handling, and delivering exceptional service at either a Patient Service Center or client site.

You will perform collections, support testing workflows, and assist with administrative tasks while contributing to a positive patient experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• One year or more experience as a phlebotomist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
