Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Savannah, GA. In this role you will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional customer service, and be the face of the company.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays, 7:00am–6:00pm, with overtime as needed. You will collect specimens for various tests, enter data accurately, and support administrative tasks while contributing to a patient-friendly experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
