Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Mount Washington, Kentucky team. This role involves performing venipuncture and capillary collections for diverse age groups in a client office, with emphasis on delivering exceptional service.

You will collect specimens, enter data accurately, manage billing details, and maintain specimen logs while supporting team and independent work, with potential travel to other sites and opportunities for growth within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency in lieu of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
