Job summary

Labcorp in Lexington, KY is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves blood collection, patient service, data entry and occasional travel between two local sites.

Requires high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year phlebotomy experience; certification preferred. We offer benefits and opportunities for growth.

You will work 5:00am–1:30pm Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed, and play a key role in patient care and sample handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
