Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or license as applicable.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy on patients of all ages.

• Knowledge of medical terminology and proper specimen handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy accurately, compassionately, and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and proper infection control.
• Complete requisitions with patient demographics, diagnoses, and payer information.
• Ensure MSP/ABN compliance where applicable for Medicare patients.
• Collect specimens necessary to fulfill lab orders and communicate test requirements.
