Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Columbus, NJ. You will perform blood collections, prepare specimens for testing, and maintain accurate logs while delivering excellent patient service in a patient service center or client office.

Required: High school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and 1+ year phlebotomy experience. Overtime and travel to additional sites may be needed; benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
