Job summary

LabCorp in Ramona, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 211 13th Street. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across all ages and provide excellent patient service.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid California Phlebotomy License. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:00pm, with overtime and occasional weekends as needed. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• California Phlebotomy License required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
