Job summary

Labcorp invites applications for a Phlebotomist in Mill Valley, CA. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups, enter patient data, and prepare specimens for testing while delivering exceptional patient service.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a California Phlebotomy License. Overtime and weekend rotations may be required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid California Phlebotomy License required.
• Color blindness test may be required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis; maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
