Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at My Community Health Center in Canton, OH. Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen collection, data entry, and preparing samples for testing.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and 3+ months of experience; 2+ years preferred. Travel to additional sites and strong customer service are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
