Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Columbus, OH at FMC 1990 Harmon Ave. This role involves venipuncture and specimen collection across all ages and requires accurate data entry and customer service excellence.

You will work Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm with rotating Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm, and may travel to additional sites. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) among others. Pay ranges from $17.75 to $25.92 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training, or 3+ months as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
