Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in New Castle, PA. You will perform blood collections, prepare specimens, and ensure accurate data entry while delivering excellent customer service. This role may require travel to additional sites and may include overtime as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training; 1+ year phlebotomy experience is preferred. Labcorp offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs for patients and specimens.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
