Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Hockessin, DE. Responsibilities include blood collection, specimen handling, data entry, and providing excellent patient service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, a high school diploma, and flexibility to work a 6:00am–2:30pm schedule with rotating Saturdays. Opportunity for growth within Labcorp’s extensive network.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy training or certification completed or 3+ months experience as phlebotomist.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
